Who doesn’t love a well stocked fridge full of healthy home cooked family meals that someone ELSE made? Let me do that. I’m good at it. Think of me as your kitchen guru for when you need a boost. Maybe it’s twice a month, every other month, or four times a year. I make having an array of family meals easy, healthy and delicious so YOU can actually enjoy them carefree.

About me
I cooked my little heart out in the thriving restaurant industry of Portland, Oregon from 2008-2016, but soon after becoming a mother, I moved to wine country and turned towards hospitality, the craft of home cooking and became an advocate for locally grown food. In 2016, I was hired full time as a private chef over multiple properties where I really learned how throw a party. I also cultivated an estate garden, created value added products and cooked countless meals for hungry winemakers, one of which, I married.
In 2022 we left my beloved PNW for the gorgeous Central Coast, CA to be near family and here we plan to stay. I now teach part-time at Cuesta College and dabble in writing. Over time I have mastered the chore beast known as weekly food prep. These past three years, I’ve gotten to know our local markets and our micro seasonal produce, I’ve learned how to shop smart in S.L.O county and create a new collection of wonderful recipes.
Cooking Style
“I create comforting and casual food that leans towards Southern European cuisine. I choose whole, minimally processed foods, quality oils and seasonings, make everything from scratch and use fresh local produce wherever possible.”
I’m inspired by international family, global ingredients and dishes with cultural stories. I always include my colorful afro-southern roots of preserving and capturing every season with a hearty emphasis on vegetables. I can accommodate menus to most specialized diets and food restrictions such as Mediterranean, Paleo, Vegan, Gluten Free, Pescatarian and Low Glycemic, so let me know ahead of time and we can make a plan.

In June 2023 I launched a SUMMER COOKERY CLUB kids and teens. COOK CLUB is held seasonally in a host home with a roomy kitchen. Each series targets a different group of kids or teens by neighborhood & social network. The ideal group size is about 6-9 kids aged 6-12 or tweens and teens aged 10+.
Each week we prepared sweets or savory dishes, we always ate dinner together and the kids learned about new flavors & a lot more!
