Shopping

I will shop for everything needed for my prep list and menu prior to each kitchen session. My standard shopping fee for option A, B and C is $50 per session. Shopping needs such as preferences, current inventory and food budget will be assessed at my initial home visit. Grocery expenses will be added to the invoice with receipts included or the client may provide me with a prepaid visa (gift) card to use for shopping trips.

“One luxury of this service is that you don’t have to think about groceries, dinner or meal planning that week.

Storage

In terms of storing the prepared food and meals, I will use what you have and honor your preferences on storage containers. I prepare the dishes in sharable containers vs individual portions. I have a few types I think work best such as a variety of glass pyrex-style dish/tupperware sets with snappable lids. I prefer them for most family-style meals because they are easy to clean, they transfer well from fridge to oven and even work for the freezer if you have leftovers. I recommend some larger rectangular sizes 6 qt and some smaller ones for dips and sauces.

“In terms of storing the prepared food and meals, I will use what you have and use your preferences on containers. However, I will always come prepared with disposible/compositible container options to ensure the food will be kept fresh, appetizing and user friendly.”

Cleaning

It goes without saying but any professional chef should, I clean as I go. I make sure to leave your kitchen tidy, your fridge orderely, your garbage empty and your floor & surfaces clean. We will address personal needs like cleaning, fridge space and anyother concerns at our initial visit.
